Senior DevOps Engineer

In this position you will:
•    Partner with development teams to design and manage CI/CD pipelines 
•    Manage Kubernetes clusters with a mix of stateful and stateless applications
•    Manage AWS infrastructure
•    Design highly available fault tolerant systems and put it to the test with chaos engineering experiments
•    Collect data to give teams complete visibility into application deployments and performance
•    Obsessively look to automate/improve current processes
•    Work with development teams to troubleshoot environment issues
•    Experiment with cutting edge technologies to find new ways of solving problems
 
Required Skills:
•    Hands on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef or Puppet
•    Strong background in infrastructure as code using Terraform
•    Working knowledge of the AWS stack
•    Experience in containerizing applications using Docker
•    Hands on experience with Kubernetes and Helm
•    Experience with CICD tools such as Gitlab CI, Jenkins or Spinnaker
•    Comfortable with Git and familiar with the Gitflow process
•    Strong development background, experience with at least one scripting language
•    Ability to solve ambiguous problems with little to no direction
  
Desired Skills:
•    Background in Linux/Unix Administration
•    Experience with tracing micro-services with Jaeger
•    Monitoring experience with Prometheus and Grafana
•    Working knowledge of service meshes using Istio or Linkerd
•    Hands on experience with Kubernetes Stateful Sets and Portworx
•    Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
•    Production support experience
•    AWS certification
