We are looking for a senior engineer to join our team. The role requires a dynamic agile engineering mindset, patience and persistence to solve complex problems, and strong engineering skills. A strategic thinker, you move between diverse tasks and help to bring out the best in those around you. You also get things done quickly but with enough due diligence.


Bring Your Best! What this role needs:


  • Collaborate in a deeply cross functional way with engineers and business - roll up your sleeves and put your heads together to brainstorm requirements for features and solution through difficult defects.
  • Release to production early and often.
  • Get to know your end users - observe users firsthand working with the software, and field ideas and requests from them directly.
  • Test and learn - You are empowered to work with our business and other internal teams to identify problems, formulate hypotheses, and experiment with solutions.
  • Work with a talented, mission-driven, fun-loving team who values your input and your individuality.
  • Experience with engineering best practices to include analyzing, designing, developing, deploying and supporting software solutions and/or infrastructure implementations/upgrades.
  • Current stack used amongst the team (React/Redux, Node.js, Python, Informatica)


Who we are looking for:


  • Experience with agile methodologies preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements.
  • Ability to solve technical, business and/or process related challenges.
  • Experience with leading/coaching/mentoring team(s).
  • Ability to explain technical solutions to technical teams and non-technical teams.
  • Specific requirements/platforms:
  • Experience in writing unit tests, integration tests or acceptance tests
  • Relational and non-relational database knowledge and understanding (examples: SQL, Sybase)
  • Industry expertise in a variety of technologies
  • Experience in AWS/Azure
  • Application Architecture
  • Experience with following tools/technologies is a plus:
  • CI/CD Pipeline (examples: GitLab/Jenkins, Ansible, Docker)
  • .Net Core
  • Experience converting legacy applications (domino/Access databases) into more modern technology
  • Experience maintaining and modernizing legacy applications
  • User Experience Design
