What's the role?

We are looking for a senior software engineer to support our two implementations of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.  Our large, primary implementation supports 18000 plus users on a daily basis and is heavily customized from a C# plugin and JavaScript perspective.  Your job duties will include:

  • Work on an agile team determining effort sizing, timing and impact on other functionality in the system.   Balance requirements and constraints to continue to deliver on the team's cadence
  • Be responsible for choosing customization strategies balancing end user ease of use, overall system performance and maintainability.
  • Partner with our dedicated Microsoft resources to surface POC work for new technologies in the Dynamics ecosystem (Common Data Model, Unified Client Interface, Virtual Entities, etc).   Use that research to show our Product team "what is the possible".
  • Partner with our in house support group to actively troubleshoot escalated issues.   Pursue work arounds and long term fixes as appropriate.   Work with Microsoft when opening support tickets


Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

  • 5+ years experience in software engineering
  • 3+ years experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM customizations, including C# plugins, and Javascript
  • Experience in modern development and collaboration tools (git, gitlab ci, automated build/test)
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to explain technical problems/solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Have strong problem solving skills and able to deal with ambiguity
  • Fast learner and self-starter with a strong bias for action


Additional Beneficial Skills:

  • Experience with modern Javascript techniques and toolkits
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience in Azure cloud offerings such as:  Application Services, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Application Insights
  • Experience using HTTP/SOAP/REST troubleshooting tools
