What’s the role?

As a Program Manager, you’ll be accountable for driving specific aspects of a larger program with medium complexity in the Infrastructure and Operations, DevOps Engineering technology area. You’ll make connections across teams to drive identification and managing of inter-dependencies.  You’ll drive for clarity on objectives, priorities and measures.   You’ll identify, assess and mitigate program risks and issues, and remove impediments.  You’ll be accountable to provide visibility and transparency of our work and our plans to leadership.   You’ll use data to make successes and challenges visible, and to drive insights and action plans to continually adjust and aggressively pursue our program goals.   You’ll leverage tools and techniques to enable end-to-end value delivery and the best ongoing rollout experience for our Northwestern Mutual engineering community.  


Bring Your Best!  What this role needs: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 3+ years of experience supporting program / project teams that deliver a digital product experience
  • Experience in agile methodologies
  • Action-oriented and makes data driven decisions
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Exhibits servant leadership
  • Proven ability to influence and persuade team members, stakeholders and vendors
  • Action oriented with a sense of urgency
  • Effective working with ambiguity
  • Highly desired experience:   Background in development and devops technology domains.
