CS Transformation Consultant

What's the role?

This is a part-time 20 hour a week position.


 • Defines opportunities as part of the operations transformation, brings in outside perspectives, has a client mindset, and works with the transformation lead and business owner(s).
• Leads complex cross-departmental projects to move operations transformation initiatives.  Partners with CDX and other areas in the company to meet objectives.
• Has primary accountability for driving key business outcomes for efforts. Translates business needs into milestones and deliverables.   Develops, manages scope and priorities, drives initiative progress and performance, and leads direct and indirect team to achieve successful outcomes.  Provides feedback, rewards and recognition as milestones are reached and on an ongoing basis.
• Recommends continuous improvements and independently seeks and implements solutions.
• Establishes and supports reporting of metrics to ensure outcomes will be successful (e.g. Client experience, quality, productivity and financial stewardship measures).  Leads staff in verifying that systems/processes are working effectively.
• Responsible for issue/risk resolution, adoption, change management, and communication.  Works with key stakeholders across the organization to define and activate the plan and address impact to the client, field, and Home Office employees.  Understand and define the expectations of the client, field and Home Office.
• Provides operational support to augment the business in critical functions and leads staff in determining countermeasures.
• Provides training, mentoring and leadership for employees impacted by transformational and business process improvement initiatives.
• Develops and maintains best practices, patterns, guidelines, techniques and methods for process improvement.  Recognized as having expert knowledge.  



Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in project management, IT or client operations.
· Minimum 5 years of client operations experience with a broad, in-depth knowledge of insurance, annuity, investment products, business operations and/or processes.  Strong business knowledge is required

* Background in policy change and annuities is preferred.
· Organizational agility to navigate across the organization. 
· Ability to drive for results. 
· System thinking capability (continuously improve methodologies, practices and techniques). 
· Business architecture mindset (ability to transform business processes through people, process, technology and information insights).
· Project management methodology experience with the ability to lead complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, process improvements, communications and change management. 
· Superior oral and written communications skills with the proven ability to build relationships inside and outside team and successfully negotiate issues.
