What's the role?

* Resolves complex and sensitive cases involving questions related to suitability policies or procedures, complaints, regulatory fraud, and errors and omissions.  Serves as the highest escalation point.

* Provides expertise and direction to resolve sensitive cases and complaints.

* Expedites special handling cases.

* Work requires careful evaluation and reference to many varied options impacting both the customer, financial representative and the business.

* Acts as a resource within the company and with the field on technical and complex issues related to the suitability of variable life and fixed and variable annuity applications.

* Manages and documents complex communication including complaint correspondence and procedures.

* Participates in division, department, or corporate projects as assigned.

* Participates or leads test system for projects and system maintenance that requires operational expertise.

* Recommends continuous improvement by identifying technical and service gaps, independently seeks and implements solutions.

* Leads/manages sub-group initiatives within the department.

*  Recommends and implements division and department policy and procedures as they apply to investment products and/or services.


Bring Your Best! What this role needs:


  • Bachelors degree in business or related field or equivalency and/or equivalent work experience plus a minimum 4 years experience with annuities or regulatory processes.
  • Analytical ability, judgment and decision making.
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Experience leading multiple projects and assignments.
  • FINRA SIE Exam (or willing to obtain within a specific timeframe).
  • FINRA Series 6 (or willing to obtain within a specific timeframe).
  • FINRA Series 26 (or willing to obtain within a specific timeframe).
